Scopejoyskippr began as a winter project — a teak-decked sloop, two friends, and the quiet belief that the Adriatic deserves a slower visit than most charters allow.
In 2013, Niko bought a 62-foot sloop with a cracked deck and a stubborn engine. He spent the winter sanding teak in a Split boatyard. By spring she was sailing again, and by autumn she had her first guests aboard.
Eleven seasons later, the boat is still the same. So is the crew. What has grown is the network of small harbours, family konobas, fishermen, and oil-pressers who help shape every voyage.
We've never wanted a fleet. One boat, one crew, one slow itinerary — it's the only way we know how to do this well.
The boat moves at six knots. So does the day. We don't rush anchorages or sunsets.
We sail where we know. Every island, every cove, every cook who waves us in.
The teak is oiled by hand. The lines are coiled the old way. The food is real food.
You're not a booking. You're a guest aboard a boat we love and a coast we belong to.
